Studdy illustrations appeared in books, magazines and newspapers across the UK, Europe and America. The Sketch illustrations were probably the most memorable - and well known - but many hundreds of Studdy's pictures elsewhere. Very often an annual or magazine would have a single Studdy illustration or a story illustrated by him. Cover pictures were very popular but picture and story books published by Ward Lock, Hulton and Nelson were regular outlets for his work.
