Studdying with Bonzo

Prints and Ads

{short description of image}

Bonzo and other Studdy Dogs appeared in many advertisements spread across many of the journals and magazines of the day. Most of the adverts appeared between 1923 and 1939 in publications such as Punch, Tatler, Good Housekeeping, Bystander, Strand Magazine, Picture Post and the Sketch . . . to name a few. The range of products was wide; these included headphones, sweets, cars, coats, shoe repair products, razors, shirt studs, bedding and even ladies suspenders! Some of the adverts are reproduced here for your pleasure!!!
